Castle Wolfsthurn and the Gilfenklamm in Stange/Stanga

Castle Wolfsthurn is a Baroque castle high atop the hill overlooking Mareit/Mareta, near Ratschings/Racines. It is home to the South Tyrolean Provincial Museum for Hunting and Fishing, and offers entertaining cultural and historical information on hunting game. The splendid halls with their original furnishings reflect the lifestyles of the noble families of a bygone era. Outside of the valley, in the community of Stange/Stanga, you can experience the overwhelming natural spectacle of the waterfalls of Gilfenklamm.
